THE ART OF BREWING
We sat down with our Chief Brewing Officer, Eric Anderson, to get his insight on how he merged two art forms into one flavor packed brew.
“Funnily enough, I fell in love with Post Saga’s music before this project even started, so it was a treat when they approached Saucy Brew Works with their new EP, Circles. Over a beer-cheersing video call, we sorted through the details. First up was deciding what to call the beer. Circles made perfect sense! The title track, after all, is Circles, and there are many references to circles in beer making: yeast cells, the tanks, bubbles, and even the top of the glass. I also love watching different circles of people come together for our Artist Collective—musicians, graphic artists, the brewery team, and the diverse range of people who get to enjoy the finished beer. Several members of the group mentioned that wheat beers were their favorites, so we decided on a peach variation of a Belgian-style Wit beer. This beautiful, hazy, straw-yellow beer was brewed with traditional spices of coriander and orange peel, as well as chamomile on the hot side and bright, ripe peach purée on the cold side. It’s light, fruity, and goes down easy while grooving to their infectious, earworm tracks!”

DESIGN + AESTHETICS
Post Saga’s EP Circles was inspired by internal reflection and the realization that being alone isn’t always a bad thing. It offers a space to contemplate how we feel about ourselves. Reaching this place of inner peace is easier said than done.
As the saying goes, old habits die hard. It’s all too easy to get stuck in the repetitive nature of bad behaviors. The label was designed as an introspective, abstract depiction of what it feels like to fall in circles—watching yourself slip back into the same routine, over and over, with no clear way to stop it. The spliced segments, filled with duplicate patterns and changing colors, represent the erratic actions or thoughts that keep you going round and round while expecting a different result. A blend of bright colors was used to match Post Saga’s lively sound, with the colors ebbing and flowing much like the stage lights at their memorable performances.
